I've had a play with my favourite hedgehogs - I love these little guys and they always make me smile when I colour them. As usual I've watercoloured my image using DI reinkers and my dinkiest brush for some of those prickly details. I've opted for 'no lines' by stamping the images in pale grey ink. I masked each element of the scene, starting with the parts at the front (the hedgehogs) and working my way 'backwards' with the toadstool, tree stump and lastly the log. Finally I drew some grass (with a very fine brush!) The sentiment is from the same stamp set and the clouds are created using an MFT stencil.
And here's their close up - say "cheese" guys! :0)
Watch me colouring this adorable hedgie in the video below or in HD over on my YouTube channel. I now create videos for all the Stamping Bella releases, so make sure you check out the playlists over there! Full Copic details are supplied in the videos
Here's my second card, this time with a pencil coloured hedgie!
I also used one of the Little Bits sets to create the background piece for this one. Love having all the separate accessories available as well as having the pre-assembled "Littles".
Debs here with my usual Monday Morning Inspiration and this week I just had to have a play with this adorable 'too cute to spook' witch - and to think I initially thought wouldn't 'need' this stamp and die set - who was I tying to kid lol!!!
There are two stamps (and a sentiment actually) in the Stamping Bella Squidgy and Teddy Set. One of the Squidgy's is a good size for a card and the other is a good size for journaling.
I was sitting looking at the packet the other day, trying to decide what to do with the smaller of the two Squidgy's, when it came to me... use the smaller Squidgy to create a background. Bosh! Job done.
I love it when a plan comes together.
Have you seen the new Mama Elephant release which has just been added to the website?! I may have treated myself to a few things, but while I wait for those I've been playing with the older set of reindeer...sooooo cute!
I also can't tell you how much I love this sentiment set; it's absolutely gorgeous :-)
If you would like more pictures and details on how I created this card, and the Copic colours I used, then please do pop over to visit me at Paper Firefly.
If you follow my blog then you will know that I have a real soft spot for little pingus and this one is one I would love to just scoop up and snuggle. Isn't he ADORABLE! He's from the Toasty Greetings set from Dies to Die For and I've used a sentiment from the same set.
It's another CAS card from me today featuring this adorable birthday bear in his fun hat. I'm not usually one for lots of different colours on my images, preferring to stick with one or two main colours, but this cute chappie asked for a rainbow hat. Who was I to deny him?! :0)
When my hair goes white (not too far away if the boys in my house have anything to do with proceedings!) I am going to be outrageous and have coloured hair. Turquoise. Purple. Pink. Maybe even all at the same time!
It's a super simple card from me today with the full focus on this cute little fox cub from Whimsy's Lee Holland collection. I've done a smidgen of doodling around the edge to frame him and layered the image and backing paper onto Kraft card, but otherwise, that's it. Simples! :0)
So, I love pigs. I think they're cute. This was possibly reflected in my last order. Who needs all that delicious new release stuff, huh? ;)
Unsurprisingly, I was in a fairly CAS mood when I made this, which I thought was perfect for Especially For You Petunia, along with some FaDoodles. (You've seen FaDoodles, right?!)That's my line and I'm sticking with it. I'm off to find some more sweet piggies ;)
